I am just giving you an update since my treatment last week. I am amazed by how quickly my body is getting back into balance after being put back into alignment by you. I can stand still without pain and so many other movements are discomfort free. The doctors told me to manage my pain with drugs but you have looked and listened to find and treat the problem rather than treat the symptoms. I am so thankful for your wonderful healing skills.

I heard of 'The Funky Healer' through word of mouth, and they were highly complimentary of his services. I have tried various types of therapists over the years; so I thought I need to check this out. The first treatment was comprehensive, Martyn talked through the treatment and exactly what he would be doing step by step. Martyn made you feel at ease and is very knowledgeable in Japanese medicine. He incorporated several different types of treatments; massage, acupuncture and aromatherapy which left me feeling relaxed, revitalised and re-energised. I would highly recommend using his therapy services.

Bis'millãh, I  was recommended to Martyn aka 'The Funky Healer' by a friend concerned for my health. I had come off all my pharmaceutical drugs as they were keeping me ill & I had been on these so called "benign drugs" for a very long time. They are anything but highly toxic & unknown to me I was going through 'withdrawal symptoms' & didn't understand why I was so poorly that I could barely function. After one treatment with Martyn I saw major improvement in my spine/hip posture, more energy than I had, had for months & left feeling hopeful that I was on the right track. Martyn really helped my back pains, with treatment, heated massages and taught me yoga exercises. He also taught me breathing techniques to help with stress and is truly a very kind and knowledgeable man. Would definitely recommend!

I’ve been feeling pain in my lower back and coccyx area. I messaged martyn and he got in me in the next evening, he welcomed me in and had a look at how I stood- he noticed I was lopped to one side. Martyn then explained what he was going to do very clearly then asked me to lay on the treatment bed which he put a treatment sheet on. While martyn treated me he explained every detail which he was doing and why... after I felt relief there was no more pain- he also did a full body check to make sure everything was in place. He was very helpful and I would recommend him, I will definitely be returning monthly as I work in a very physical job. I’m grateful for everything he did

I have been introduced to Martyn by a friend at the time when I most needed some help with my health. I have been suffering from insomnia, headaches, lack of energy and digestion issues. Lack of sleep for months alone  has put a havoc on my health which was effecting my every day life. Within first session Martyn has asked all the right questions and talked to me about treatment he would suggest. I had my full trust in him. His approach to a client is one in a million.  I have now been having sessions with Martyn for few months and with mixture of acupuncture and other traditional remedies he uses I must say I am a different person. I have had niggling lower back issues for years.  I get out of balance with all the sport and exercise that I do and Martyn is a master when it comes to getting me back into balance.  This week I have been doing some gardening, not ideal when it comes to lower back niggles and was in agony the following day, could not get up without severe pain and was unable to walk properly.  Martyn did acupuncture, a re-balance, sports massage and some Reiki and voila I can get up and walk again.  I still need to be careful what I get up to that is a given.............the treatment is so great and an instant relief along with the relaxation of the session as an added bonus.

The next stage was surgery, which I really did not want. I can’t praise Martyn enough! Had been prescribed an array of heavy painkillers to reduce a neck spasm I was having and nothing was working. Had a session with Martyn and problem solved. Went to see Martyn a few months ago with chronic knee pain and after a friendly chat and some realignment/recommended stretching (which I have been doing frequently since the last visit), I can now say I suffer zero knee discomfort and pain and overall feel so much better both mentally and physically because I can now get back to what I enjoy (lifting weights/keeping active) without pain holding me back. Thanks Martyn.
